1/5/2026 - California has been getting a lot of rain this year so I think we are going get a Super Bloom!
Because of the early heavy rain this year, flowers are already starting to bloom many places!
Where and when flowers bloom varies from year to year. The bloom depends on the amount of rain and other factors and progresses from warmer lower elevation places to cooler higher elevation places.
I'll be updating this blog with pictures and video as I hike around looking for flowers - I'll also share some information about places to see flowers.
