Super Bloom 2025

Update 04/25/2025 The spring bloom 2025 seems pretty super to me - Super Bloom 2025 ?? - at least in some places - scroll down to see my videos - the bloom seems better than I thought it would be this year. The bloom has definitely been later this year than some years. The warm weather a few weeks ago brought out the blooms but then it got cooler so things are still blooming and have not dried up yet - and we might even get some rain tomorrow!

Update 04/24/2025 I had some fun playing my fiddle in the amazing flowers yesterday! A blanket of yellow surrounding me in Bartlett Park - Huntington Beach - Orange County:

Update 04/14/2025 I just returned from a trip up the California Coast. The wildflowers were wonderful at Fiscalini Ranch Preserve in Cambria California - here is a video:

I was surprised how many flowers were blooming along the California Central Coast! Super Bloom 2025 - at least some places!

Update 04/06/2025 - It just got warm and maybe even hot! - It had been on the cold side for a while but just yesterday turned much warmer! More blooms are popping out!

Update 4/4//2025 We have received some rain late in Southern California late in the season - further North, the precipitation has been closer to normal - so we will see what happens in 2025 … It has been a bit on the cold side so the flowers seem to be coming later this year! 

We started the season with less rain - this is what I wrote - California Wildflowers 2025 - In 2025, California's wildflower bloom is expected to be limited due to the below-average rainfall.  

Update 03/10/2025 - we just got some rain last week and are expected to get more this week.  Maybe we will still get some excellent flowers!
